LAS VEGAS-October 30, 2017 – A grand opening event Oct. 28 celebrated the newest Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Neighborhood Hospital, which offers patients improved access to health care in an underserved region where additional health care options are much needed.
The Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican West Flamingo Campus, 9880 W. Flamingo Road, is the third new neighborhood hospital to be open in southern Nevada this year through a joint-venture partnership of Emerus Holdings and Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican. Collectively, the three neighborhood hospitals are providing patients with convenient access to the innovative, comprehensive and high-quality health care services typically found on a larger hospital campus. A fourth neighborhood hospital is set to open in December of 2017.
“The neighborhood hospitals we are building allow us to create an integral delivery network – a one-stop shop – that delivers all of the things we want the future to hold for health care in southern Nevada,” said Laura Hennum, Market CEO for the Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Neighborhood Hospitals. “The West Flamingo team is eager to continue to bring the highest level of care and commitment, and build on the trust we’ve established in this community.”
The 38,500-square-foot campus officially opened Aug. 16 and provides the same expert level of care that has made Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican one of the nation’s leading health care systems. It features a state-of-the-art emergency department, inpatient beds, advanced imaging center and an ambulatory service center.
Saturday’s free, public celebration included family activities, food trucks, live music, a costume contest, giveaways and more.
